Adults say "stretch marks", Kids say "stripes"

Last night I went to my third tanning bed visit, and after explaining to the girl working there that I have extremely sensitive skin and this was only my third visit; she assured me that 9 minutes would be fine. Let's just say if I could have got to her at 3am this morning, it wouldn't have been pretty. I woke up, hurting all over and feeling sick to my stomach. I broke out into a cold sweat and felt horrible...I am assuming this is from being overheated from the tanning bed..but who knows. ANYWAY...back to my title regarding stretch marks..tonight I was in the bathroom smothering myself in aloe, when Kennedy walks in and says, "Mommy, are those stripes from your pants?" After looking in the mirror, I realized that she was referring to my lovely stretch marks, or as one of my favorite books referenced them by saying "Think of stretch marks as pregnancy service stripes". I go on to explain to Kennedy that when she was in mommy's belly, she grew so big that my skin stretched too much (gross). She said, "Yeah, I remember, I was trying to find someway to get out and I couldn't!!" All of a sudden, those stripes became priceless to me...

I now have a blog!!

Okay, I have a confession to make..I have been "blog stalking" Erin & Lauren for a while now. I have Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives on t.v. and Erin and Lauren's blog on the internet. I find it so interesting to see what others are up to and mostly to see that life with children is so rewarding, yet so eventful.....everyday!!! Girls, I need your help with my page. Any suggestions or tips welcome. :)
